Each fall, the ministers of our synod retreat to Antiochian Village in the Laurel Highlands for education, spiritual renewal, rest, fellowship… and cornhole.

Recorded: Panel on Eucharist in the Midst of the Pandemic

Bishop Kusserow invited Bishop Leila Ortiz of the Metro DC Synod and Bishop James Dunlop of the Lower Susquehanna Synod to join the ministerium of southwestern Pennsylvania in conversation about Holy Communion during the pandemic. 

Each presented a brief exploration of one portion of the document created by the faculty of on United Lutheran Seminary and the bishops of Region 8 which they find particularly important and then engaged in discussion.
